Dina Browne was born and raised in Brighton, MA. She was accepted to and attended the prestigious Boston Latin School, from which she graduated in 1982, and where she was later inducted into the Varsity Hall of Fame for volleyball and softball. She was accepted early decision to Dartmouth College, and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology in 1986. After working for two years in New York City, in direct marketing and then as a paralegal, Dina enrolled at Boston College Law School. She graduated cum laude in 1991, earning her Juris Doctor degree. After several years working in Boston law firms, she founded the law firm, Lamb and Browne, P.C. in 2000 with offices in Holliston and Walpole, MA. After ten years as an owner of Lamb and Browne, P.C., Dina joined the Boston firm of Bletzer & Bletzer, P.C. where she has been named a partner and is managing the office in Walpole, MA.
Dina has represented hundreds of lenders, buyers and sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Having closed thousands of loans during the real estate boom and unfortunate collapse, she has seen firsthand the issues that can and do arise and advises clients on what they need to do to be protected when entering into a purchase and sale agreement. Dina enjoys the counseling aspect of real estate law and takes great pride in working with first time home buyers to ensure they thoroughly understand the transaction. She also has great compassion for those clients selling their longtime homes where they raised their families.
For over twenty years, Dina has also represented insurance carriers and insurers under their insurance policies, including general liability, property, dwelling and homeowner’s, automobile and professional errors and omission policies. She has handled a myriad of cases from simple slip and falls to large construction site accidents involving wrongful death claims. She has extensive experience in representing restaurants and bars including the handling of liquor liability and dram shop claims. In addition, Dina has represented insurers in first party property claims and insurance coverage matters and thrives on interpreting cases and crafting new legal arguments.
Dina also handles a variety of other legal matters, including but not limited to personal injury cases involving slip and falls and automobile accidents, general business litigation, condominium conversions, commercial and residential leases and landlord tenant matters, and land use planning and zoning.
Dina resides in Walpole with her husband John and daughters, Meaghan and Nicole.
Dina is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts.
